From last a couple of days, we are witnessing the leaks regarding Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone, which could be Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, recently we have seen some rendered images which gave some idea how this device will look like. Now it seems Xiaomi India is gearing up for the launch of its first 2018 product in India, and for this company has just sent out media invites. Xiaomi India has invited us on 14th February 2018 to witness its next product.
However, its media invite doesn’t say much about the product which company is going to launch but invite image has bit 5 written on it, which means the company could launch the successor of Redmi Note 4, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
Xiaomi has launched Redmi Note 4 in early 2017, which means it seems to be the perfect time for the company to launch its successor, but there are some rumors that company could launch Redmi 5 in India on 14th Feb instead of Redmi Note 5.
However, some of our sources have suggested that it will be Redmi Note 5, as it does make sense as the company wants to keep the bar up which Note 4 has taken up and recently there were several leaks for the same device.
As per the earlier leaks what we know is Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will have a 5.99 inch IPS LCD full HD+ display, under the hood it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC will be paired with either 3GB/4GB RAM with 32GB/64GG of internal storage.
When it comes to the photographic front, it will have a dual-camera setup of a 16-megapixel sensor along with a 5-megapixel depth sensor which allows you to get the DSLR-like effect. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 likely to house a 4,100mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 4.0.
The Redmi Note 5 is likely to carry a price tag of CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs 15,500) and will be available in three colors – grey, black, and blue.
