Apple has officially wrapped up one of its biggest product events of the year, and this time the company had more than just a new iPhone to show off.The “Surprise and shine” event introduced the new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple’s first foldable iPhone called iPhone Duo, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4, and AirPods 5. The event also put a major focus on Apple Intelligence and health features across the company’s ecosystem.

As we discussed in our previous guide on how to watch the iPhone 18 launch event live and what to expect, several of the biggest rumored products have now become official. Here’s a quick look at everything Apple announced.

iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max

The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are the main upgrades for Apple’s traditional flagship lineup.

Both phones are powered by Apple’s new A20 Pro chip, built using a 2nm process. Apple says the chip brings major improvements to performance and on-device AI, while a redesigned vapor-chamber cooling system is designed to provide better sustained performance.

But the biggest change is arguably the camera.

A new variable-aperture camera

The main camera is now a 48MP Fusion camera with variable aperture. For the first time, iPhone users can manually adjust the aperture, while the camera can also automatically change it depending on lighting and the type of shot.

Apple says the system can adjust between apertures as wide as ƒ/1.48, helping with low-light photography, or narrow the aperture to increase the depth of field. The new Pro Controls also give photographers manual control over settings such as shutter speed, white balance and aperture.

The Dynamic Island has also been redesigned to be smaller while supporting more information, including up to three Live Activities at once.

Better battery life

Battery life has received a particularly large upgrade this year. Apple claims up to 36 hours of video playback on the iPhone 18 Pro and up to 45 hours on the Pro Max.

The Pro models can also reach around 50% charge in about 15 minutes using wired charging.

The phones come in black, silver, glacier and the new burgundy finish.

The iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at $1,299. Pre-orders begin September 12, with availability from September 18.

iPhone Duo: Apple’s First Foldable iPhone

And then came the announcement many Apple fans had been waiting years for. Apple has finally entered the foldable phone market with the iPhone Duo.

The Duo opens into a 7.6-inch display, while maintaining a smaller outer display for normal phone use. Apple is positioning it as a device that can work both as a conventional smartphone and as a larger productivity device.

One of the more interesting additions is Apple Pencil support. The larger internal display can also run two apps side by side, making the Duo considerably more useful for multitasking than a conventional iPhone.

Apple has also focused heavily on making the foldable design thin and pocketable.

Of course, there’s a catch: price.

The iPhone Duo starts at $1,999 and will be available from October 23, making it considerably more expensive than the iPhone 18 Pro Max.

For Apple, however, the Duo could be much more important than its initial sales numbers suggest. It represents the company’s first serious attempt to define what a foldable iPhone should be.

Apple Watch Series 12

Apple’s smartwatch lineup also received a major health-focused upgrade with the Apple Watch Series 12.

The new watch introduces Apple’s Health Sensing System, which provides more frequent heart-rate and heart-rate-variability measurements.

One of the most interesting additions is Readiness. It gives users a daily score from 0–10 based on factors such as activity, sleep and vital signs, along with recommendations such as Recover, Pace Yourself, Ready or Go For It.

Apple is also redesigning its Health app with a new Longevity section and Health Age feature, giving users a broader view of their long-term health data.

The Series 12 also brings Apple’s growing AI capabilities to the wrist, including Siri AI and new audio-intelligence features.

Apple Watch Ultra 4

For athletes and outdoor enthusiasts, Apple introduced the Apple Watch Ultra 4.

The Ultra 4 uses the same new Health Sensing System and S11 chip, bringing more frequent heart-rate and HRV measurements along with the new Readiness feature.

Battery life is another major improvement. Apple says the Ultra 4 can provide up to 50 hours of normal use, while its extended workout modes can track outdoor activities for up to 45 hours.

It also comes in natural and black titanium, keeping the rugged design that has become a defining part of the Ultra lineup.

The Apple Watch Ultra 4 starts at $799 and will be available from September 18.

AirPods 5

Apple didn’t forget its wireless earbuds either.

The new AirPods 5 bring Active Noise Cancellation to Apple’s open-ear AirPods design. Apple says the new model can reduce up to 50% more external noise than AirPods 4 with ANC.

They also feature improved Adaptive EQ, Transparency mode, Siri AI integration and Live Translation, allowing users to hear translated conversations through their AirPods.

The standard AirPods 5 start at $129, while the version with a Wireless Charging Case costs $149.

Both versions are scheduled to arrive on September 18.

Apple’s Bigger Focus on AI

One thing that connects almost every product announced this year is Apple Intelligence.

The iPhone 18 Pro gets the new Siri AI and more powerful on-device AI capabilities through the A20 Pro chip. The Apple Watch gets Siri AI and intelligent health features, while AirPods can use Siri AI and Live Translation.

Apple is clearly trying to make AI less about a standalone chatbot and more about something that quietly works across the devices people already use.

Final Thoughts

Apple’s 2026 launch is interesting because it isn’t simply another yearly iPhone upgrade.

The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max bring significant camera, battery and performance improvements, while the iPhone Duo marks Apple’s first step into the foldable market. At the same time, the Apple Watch lineup is becoming increasingly focused on health and fitness, and AirPods are gaining more intelligent features.

The biggest question now isn’t whether Apple can make a foldable phone — it’s whether the iPhone Duo can convince people that Apple’s approach to foldables is worth the $1,999 price tag.

For now, though, one thing is clear: Apple’s 2026 lineup is much more than just the iPhone 18.
