Remove “RECYCLE BIN” Icon From Desktop In XP

I never found Recycle Bin icon very useful in desktop, but it still there in desktop and occupy space, but i always like a neat and clean desktop with no extra files, but by default Recycle bin is always there in your desktop, so i was wondering how can i remove it from my desktop after some tweaking i found found the way to remove it,just look below at two images, With Recycle Bin With No Recycle Bin  So to remove it follow these steps:-

  1. Open run command and type GPEDIT.MSC
  2. Now navigate to ADMINISTRATIVE TEMPLATE => DESKTOP
  3. Now look for  REMOVE RECYCLE BIN ICON FROM DESKTOP, double click it and select ENABLE
  4. Thats it, you are done,

If you are using Vista or Windows 7, then just right click on Recycle Bim icon on desktop and select delete
