In past we had purchased couple of items from refurbished product selling website, GreenDust, couple of days back I thought to give it another try and I purchased MacBook Pro 2013 Retina Display Model which was available for around 65K which seems to be a good deal and I decided to go for it, delivery time mentioned on website was around 10 days and I got it within the mentioned time period.
Let’s keep this review simple, I am not going to talk each and every function of MacBook Pro, as I am sharing our experience with GreenDust, let’s see how was the product’s condition, and what are the package contents which I had got as compared with original one.
When I had received product it was inside GreenDust box which was neat and clean, but when I took MacBook box out from it, it was not in good condition, the box was damaged from most of the sides, but as it was packed inside another box so it won’t make any issue at all.
Next I opened MacBook Pro box and look the contents of it, to my surprise it has got all contents which you might find in new MacBook Pro, it has got:-
- MacBook Pro
- MagSafe Power Adapter
- AC Wall Plug
- Extension Power Cord
- And Some Documents
All contents of the box were neatly wrapped and were in the good condition which is good as if you are spending such a huge money.
Product Quality And Condition:-
Now comes the main section, quality of product really matter a lot, after taking MacBook Pro out of the box, I was trying to find is there any physical damage to the product.
Next thing which I did is checked all ports, whether they are working or not, and as expected all connectivity ports were working very fine and there was no issue with them.
Next thing which I was curious to know and check was its keyboard and trackpad, after typing two or three blog posts I felt both, keyboard and trackpad are pretty much good and is providing nice feedback.
I am not a music lover but I do listen to music sometimes, so I opened my Spotify playlist and played it, quality of the speakers is pretty solid and you won’t be able to say it’s coming from a refurbished product.
Overall quality of the product was pretty good with all things working in its place, I used it for a couple of weeks and haven’t found any issue in any place, WiFi worked fine, Bluetooth worked fine, the display was good and camera place at the front was also pretty good for making video calls.
On top of all, GreenDust also provides a warranty which ensures if you find anything wrong with the product then you can easily return it or get it fixed without any issue.
