Last month with the launch of Yuphoria, Yu has also decided to enter into wearable segment also and they did entered into it with the launch of YuFit, at that time company has not declared any particular date for the launch, but today company has launched this YuFit in India and it is priced Rs. 999, it will be sold under flash sale model and like other Yu products it will be available only on Amazon India. Registration for the first flash sale will start from July 21 at 12PM and first sale will happen on 29 July on Amazon India.
YUFIT is a wireless wristband that works in tandem with a dedicated app to dynamically monitor fitness levels, set alarms and reminders. YuFit can also notify you for incoming calls and messages on its OLED display.
As an introductory offer, first 1000 customers of YuFit will get free access to a coach via Healthifyme which is a Yu invested company and subscriptions for coaches start at Rs 1,800 for two months and go up to Rs 10,000 for a year.
The closest competitor for YuFit will be Mi Band and Goqii, Mi Band is also available Rs. 999 but as YuFit has OLED display, it gives an edge over Mi Band to YuFit, one the other hand Goqii is also an India based company and they do provide personal coach and their plans are also cheaper as compared with YuFit.
