Xiaomi Redmi 2 Launched In India At Rs. 6,999; Features and Specs
Earlier this year Xiaomi has kicked its new year by launching Redmi 2 which is the successor of highly popular Redmi 1S which was launched last year. Just like we had told you, Xioami has launch this updated version, the Redmi 2 in India at very attractive price of Rs. 6,999 and juts like its other products, Xiaomi Redmi 2 will also be exclusively available on Flipkart, registrations for the first sale will start at 6:00PM today and first sale will happen on 24th March.
Last year Xioami has took time period of 4-5 months to bring Redmi 1S to Indian market, but this time Xiaomi has launch Redmi 2 within just 2 months in Indian market. At launch company has also mentioned that now Xiaomi is in top 5 companies in India.
If we talk about specs then Xiaomi Redmi 2 flaunts a 4.7-inch HD IPS display screen with screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels with a pixel density of 312ppi, if we talk about uder the hodd features then it is powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 306 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
At back it has same 8MP camera with LED flash, at front Redmi 2 has 2MP camera at front, it includes 8GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. It houses a 2,200mAh battery, for connectivity it include dual-SIM card slots, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Micro USB, as per software front, it will run on MIUI 6 out of the box.
