Tomorrow Spice along with some other Google’s partner for Android One program will announce their own Android One smartphone’s in India but before the launch Spice Android One Dream UNO Mi-498 was spotted on Flipkart and its been priced Rs. 6,999. Recently Asus has launched its ZenFone 4.5 or Asus ZenFone 4 A50CG which comes in same price bracket so we decided to compare both.
Both Asus ZenFone 4.5 and Spice Android One comes with 4.5 inch display screen and also has same screen resolution of 854×480 pixels but Asus ZenFone 4.5 comes with Corning Gorilla Glass which surely is a plus point for Asus ZenFone 4.5.
Asus ZenFone 4.5 is powered by 1.2 GHz dual core Intel Atom Z2520 Processor with Intel Hyper Threading Technology which makes this dual core SoC work as quad-core when its necessary, while Spice Android One comes with 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, and both smartphone’s comes with 1GB of RAM.
Here Asus again wins, it comes with 8GB of internal storage while Spice Android comes with 4GB of internal storage, both has memory expansion option via microSD card. Asus ZenFone support 64 GB microSD card while Spice Android One support up to 32 GB microSD card.
Asus ZenFone 4.5 comes with 8MP auto-focus camera at back with LED flash while Spice Android One has 5MP camera with LED flash, at front Asus ZenFone 4.5 has only 0.2 MP camera while Spice Android One has 2MP camera.
Both smartphone’s Asus ZenFone 4.5 and Spice Android One Dream UNO Mi-498 has almost same battery, Asus has 1750 mAh battery while Spice has 1700 mAh battery.
Asus ZenFone 4.5 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat wrapped under ZenUI, we had used ZenUI in past and its quite flat and responsive, while Spice Android One runs on stock Android KitKat 4.4.4.
As per specs and our past experience we could say Asus ZenFone 4.5 wins the race but it should be noted that Android One smartphone is not announced at this time and it could bring some other features when it will be launched.
