Last month Oppo has announced a new selfies oriented smartphone, the Oppo F5 which is the successor of Oppo F3 (Review) and was launched in the Philippines, and now this smartphone has made its way to the Indian market. Oppo F5 is the new addition to companies selfie oriented smartphones. Oppo has launched two variants of Oppo F5 in India which differs in terms of RAM and internal storage.
When it comes to specs, Oppo F5 flaunts a 6-inch FHD+ display screen which screen resolution of 1080×2160 pixels, it has LTPS ‘Full Screen’ display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, it is powered by MediaTek MT6763T octa-core SoC coupled with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, and it comes with either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage which can be further expandable via micro SD card.
When it comes to the photographic front, it features a 16-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash and f/1.8 aperture and there is a 20-megapixel front camera with a f/2.0 aperture.

For connectivity, it supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG support, and a 3.5mm audio jack, and houses a 3200mAh battery. When it comes to software front, it runs on ColorOS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat.
Price And Availability Of Oppo F5 –
Oppo F5 is priced at Rs. 19,990 for the 4GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage variant, and it will be available in a Gold and Black edition while the 6GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage variant is priced Rs. 24,990, and will be available in Red and Black color variants.
Oppo F5 Youth –
The company will be launching a new smartphone, the Oppo F5 Youth Edition which will have a 6-inch display with beautification features and it will be launched in December in India, no other details have been shared by the company as of now.
