India’s Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal has said that mobile phone users will be able to talk free of cost when they move out of their home network.

Kapil Sibal has said that “Roaming will be free in 2013. We have to get Cabinet approval and then it comes back to us. And then it will be floated,”

Government has earlier said that they will announce One Nation-One License which means users will be charge by local call rates through out the country.

Government has approved this policy back in May 2012 but it was still pending for implementation in the country. Government has just approved this policy yet, it has to go through several hurdles.
