Today Indian vendor Micromas has launched yet another affordable tablet under its Funbook series, the Micromax Funbook P280. This tablet is availble on online stores across the web for Rs. 4,650/-


As per specs, the Micromax Funbook P280 sports a 7 inch display screen with 5 touch points, it is powered by a Cortex A8 dual-core processor ticking at 1GHz along with 512 MB of RAM and with Dual Mali-400 GPU. At back it has a VGA rear camera, it comes with 4 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card and houses a 2,400mAh battery to which Micromax claims can survive for up to 250 hours on standby mode.

For connectivity it has 3G support via dongle, Wi-Fi and Micro USB, as per software front, it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Micromax is also bundling a leather case with a detachable keyboard.

At this price range or specs it will compete with Lava E-Tab Velo+, Datawind UbiSlate 7C+ EDGE, and HCL ME Sync 1.0 (U3)
