Metis And Intel Launched Eddy G70 Kids Educational Tablet

Metis Learning in partnership with Intel has launched the Eddy G70 which is powered by the Intel Atom Processor Z2520. This a learning tablet which is targeted towards children aged 2-10 years. The tablet runs on Android 4.2.2 and has an overlay of the proprietary Athena OS, created specifically for children’s learning.


Eddy G70 comes pre-loaded with over 160 learning apps selected by educators and experts to accelerate a child’s social, emotional and cognitive development, Eddy’s preloaded content covers over 300 key skills which a child needs to learn between the ages of 2 to 10, and children get access to content relevant for their age.

Eddy has partnerships with Google’s education app developers including Intellijoy, Tipitap, iStoryBooks and many others to ensure best-in-class learning content.

If we talk about specs then it comes with 7 inch Multi Touch Capacitative IPS screen with screen resolution of 1024×600 pixel, screen has impact-proof and scratch resistant surface and its also has UV ray protective layer for kids.

It is powered by Intel Atom Processor Z2520 along with 1 GB of RAM and has 16 GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

Other features of Eddy G70 are Front Camera 2.0 MP and Back Camera 2.0 MP, for connectivity it has Bluetooth and WiFi, it supports 3G via USB Dongle, and as told earlier it runs on Android 4.2.2 with Athena OS.

This tablet is exclusively available on Amazon India for Rs. 9,999, for limited time it comes with launch offer worth Rs. 4,500.
