InFocus, US-based brand which entered Indian market back in 2015 with InFocus M2 3G which was a 3G focused smartphone, and it was a hit for the company, the company has launched couple of more devices in India and with this company was able to get a boost in Indian market, but then instead of focusing on smartphone business, company tried to tap other markets as well, they entered into TV market and some other, which seems not to be working for them..
The last announcement which we have heard from the company was around 9-10 months back, and it seemed that company has left Indian market as they might not getting what they were expecting here. But all of a sudden, out of nowhere, today InFocus has decided to relaunch themselves in India with a battery packed smartphone, the InFocus Turbo 5.
The USP of this device is its 5000mAh battery and company claim to offer up to 23 hours of talk time and a standby time of 816 hours, which is massive.
When it comes to specs then InFocus Turbo 5 flaunts a 5.2-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display screen which has 2.5D NEG curved glass on top, under the hood, it is powered by Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor clocked at 1.3Ghz, and graphics are handled by Mali T720 MP1 GPU.
It comes in two variants, 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage, memory can be expandable up to 32 GB with a microSD card. For connectivity, you have WIFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro USB, Dual SIM, and LTE.
When it comes to the photographic front, we have a 13 MP autofocus camera at back with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture, at the front you have a 5MP camera with the same f/2.2 aperture. And when it comes to software scenario, it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
Company has told that as a part of Indian Government Make In India initiative, InFocus Turbo 5 will be manufactured in India, and another thing which company has shared is that now they have 326 service centers across the country.
InFocus Turbo 5 will be available in Pure Gold and Mocha Gold colors variants and it will be exclusively available on Amazon starting July 4. The 2 GB + 16 GB variant is priced at Rs. 6,999 and the 3 GB + 32 GB variant is priced at Rs. 7,999.
