After months of silence and waiting, finally Yu, a sister company of Micromax has finally announced a new smartphone, the Yu Yureka Black, company is calling it as next version of one of its most popular smartphone, the Yu Yureka. Company was teasing this phone over social media from some time, The YU Yureka Black is priced at Rs 8,999 and it will be exclusively available on Flipkart on June 6 at 12:00 AM, and it will be available in chrome black and matte black finish.
The design of this device is the much talking point over here, it sports all-black design, features a metal unibody. At the front, it has a physical home button which also acts as a fingerprint scanner.
When it comes to specs, the Yu Yureka Black flaunts a 5-inch full HD 2.5D display which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 protection, under the hood, it runs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, it is an old processor which company decided to use here, it also comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage which can be further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.
When it comes to the photography front, YU Yureka Black features a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX 258 sensor along with LED flash, it has 5 element lens features night-mode, beauty filters, Super Pixel and HDR mode.
At the front, you have an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. Both the rear and front cameras come with flash.
For connectivity, it supports dual-SIM support (hybrid SIM Slot), 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth. It houses a 3,000mAh non-removable battery, which provides up to 168 hours of standby time, and up to 28 Hours(2G) & Up to 21 Hours (3G) of talk time.
At this price tag, Yu Yureka Black will compete with Xiaomi Redmi 4, Lenovo K6 Power and the Moto G4 Play.
