Today at MIUI 7 global launch event in New Delhi, Xiaomi has announced limited edition of one of its latest smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 4i and these limited editions will be available in three new color variants which are Pink, Blue and Yellow, sale for these smartphone will happen on 25 August. As of now Xiaomi Mi 4i is only available in White, and Dark Grey.
Company has announced these new color variants to celebrate MIUI 7 global launch, apart from colors there is not change which company has made on these devices, even the price of them remains the same.
When it comes to specs, its same what we have seen in Xiaomi Mi 4i 16GB variant, like it flaunts a 5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS OGS (One Glass Solution) display with pixel density of 441ppi. The display also features a technology Xiaomi calls “Sunlight display,” which adjusts the contrast of each pixel for crystal-clear images even under direct sunlight.
If we talk about under the hood it is powered by a second-generation 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core (1.1GHz quad-core + 1.7GHz quad-core) processor clocked at 1.7GHz along with 2GB of RAM, and has got 16GB of internal memory.
As per photography front, Xiaomi Mi 4i features a 13-megapixel rear camera with CMOS sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone flash, and at front it has got an 5-megapixel selfie camera, with f/1.8 aperture and 80 degrees wide angle lens.
For connectivity it has got dual-SIM card slots with both supporting LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Micro USB, GPS and Bluetooth 4.1, it houses a 3,120mAh battery with quick charge support, which is capable of charging device to 40 percent in an hour, and can fully charge in three.
If we talk about software, then Xiaomi Mi 4i is the first smartphone from company which runs on Android Lollipop-wrapped under MIUI right of the box.
