Yesterday night Samsung has took stage when it wrap off from its Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge, today Samsung has secretly announced its 8 inch rugged and water resistance tablet, the Galaxy Tab Active. Samsung has said that this rugged tablet is specially built for business professional’s who work under extreme conditions like construction sites or transport depots.
If we talk about specs then Samsung Galaxy Tab Active flaunts a 8-inch WXGA TFT LCD display screen with screen resolution of 1280×800 pixels, under the hood it is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor (unknown chipset) paired with 1.5GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up to 64Gb via microSD card.
Other features of Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3.1 megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and has a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera as well, for connectivity, Galaxy Tab Active has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Glonass, 3G, Micro USB and 4G LTE, it houses a 4450mAh and it measures at 126.2×213.1×9.75mm and weighs 393 grams. As per software front it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.
this tablet is water and dust resistant with IP67 certification and it also comes with anti-shock covering, which can protect device on the fall of 1.2 meters. Samsung has also bundled “C Pen” stylus on top of Galaxy Tab Active cover.
