Couple of days back Samsung has announced a new voice calling tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab E in an event in Taiwan, and now just within few days company has announced Samsung Galaxy Tab E along with another mid range tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A in India at the price of Rs 16,900 and Rs 20,500 respectively, both tablets offers voice callings facilities to the user.
If we talk about specs the, Samsung Galaxy Tab A features an 8-inch XGA display screen with 1024×768 pixels resolutions, under the hood it is powered by a quad-core 64-bit processor clocked at 1.2GHz along with 2GB of RAM and has 16GB internal storage which can be further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.
As per photography front, this tablet features an 5-megapixel rear camera and there is also an 2-megapixel camera up front, it houses an 4,200mAh battery and for connectivity it includes 4G LTE support, voice calling ability, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, Micro USB, and GPS, as per software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
If we talk about Samsung Galaxy Tab E flaunts an 9.6inch WXGA TFT screen with screen resolution of 1280×800 pixels, under the hood it is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM and comes with 8GB of internal memory which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
As per photography front this tablet features the same 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera and an 2-megapixel front camera, it houses an 5,000mAh battery, and for connectivity it has 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB, if we talk about software front, it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.
Samsung has tied-up with AirTel and Vodafone for these tablets, Airtel will also be offering 2GB data free for 2 months on its 4G network to Tab A consumers while Vodafone will be offering free 2GB of 3G data per month for 2 months for post-paid consumers and 1GB of 3G data free on purchase of 1GB by a prepaid consumer for 2 months.
