Find The Dns Server Address Of Any Website Using Command Prompt

If you have little knowledge about Computers & Networking then you must know what is DNS SERVER.Dns Stands for Domain Name System (DNS).It is a hierarchical naming system for computers, services, or any resource connected to the Internet or a private network. It associates various information with domain names assigned to each of the participants. Now if you wanna know the Dns Server address of any site then here is a simple trick:-

  • Open your Command Prompt either using Run Command Or From Accessories.
  • Now in run command type following command

nslookup -type=NS domain name

  • Now it will show you the Dns Server address of the website.See the screenshot below.

  • As you can see command prompt is showing 2 dns address as Name Server.
  • That’s All
