Today Acer has announced its latest Acer Liquid S2 smartphone just before IFA, it’s the updated version of Liquid S1 announced back in June.

Acer Liquid S2 sports 6 inch IPS full HD display offering 1920×1080 pixels resolution at 368 ppi, it has curved Gorilla Glass 3, it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 quad-core chipset ticking at 2.2GHz along with 2GB of RAM, it has 16GB of ROM which is can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.

It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, at back it has 13-megapixel rear camera with BSI Sensors and LED ring flash, which can shoot full HD 1080p videos at 60fps at front it has a 2-megapixel camera.

It is the first smartphone which can shot 4K videos, using rear camera you can capture full panorama photos of up to 27-megapixels in a single picture.

For connectivity it has Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, GPS, AGPS, 3G or 4G, it houses 3,300mAh battery, as per sensors it has light sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, digital compass and gyro.

It also has Dolby digital speakers, its Acer Flot UI allows you float several apps for better multitasking. Acer will announce its availability dates and price at IFA berlin.
