Tablet market is shrinking every day and the reason for this is smartphones are getting bigger and bigger every day, and people are also losing interest in these big and bulky devices, instead they want to carry something portable and easy to use, but on the other side there are some companies which still like to play in this segment like Apple with iPad lineup and now Samsung has also launched a new tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016).

When it comes to specs then Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) flaunts 10.1-inch WUXGA (1920x1200pixels) display, under the hood, it is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor along with 3GB RAM and it has also got 32GB onboard storage which can be further expandable up to 256GB via micro SD card.

When it comes to the photographic front, then it has got 8MP rear snapper with LED flash and it is capable of recording full HD videos at 1080p, at the front you do have a 2MP front-facing camera for selfies. It is available in WiFi and LTE variants, other connectivity options are GPS with GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1 and Micro USB, it houses a 7300 mAh battery which is said to last 14 hours on WiFi browsing and 13 hours on LTE.

The main talking point of this tablet is its S-Pen which allows you to input your thought or draw something on it, juts like you would be able to on Samsung Galaxy Note Series, here as well you would be able to translate a word or find dictionary meaning or you can take notes on its display and pin them to check it later, just like you can do on Note 7. It runs on Android Marshmallow based TouchWiz UI.

At present, there is no word on its price and availability, but it is expected to be available at the price tag of $390.
