Earlier this month we had told you that Samsung could be the first mobile manufacture to launch phone with curved display and Today Samsung has announced Galaxy Round in Korea.
As per specs, Galaxy Round looks very similar to Galaxy Note 3 but with a concave display. Galaxy Round flaunts a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display screen with 1920×1080 pixels screen resolution. It is 7.9mm thick
Samsung has tweaked software so that its add-ons can take advantage of the curved display like ‘Roll Effect’ which lets users check the date, time and missed calls when the home screen is turned off.
It is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It houses a 2800mAh battery. At back it has 13 MP cameras.
On software front it runs on Android 4.3 and comes with ‘Bounce UI’ which lets users control the music player by pressing on the sides of the display, the ‘Side Mirror’ allows users to access their video or albums by tilting your phone left or right.
