PayTM was the first to launch QR Code enabled payments, it lets you to just scan QR code and make payment using your PayTM wallet, and on the other hand, merchant can receive payments directly to their bank account, so its a win win situation for both of them. And now PayTM has good news for its users, company has said that if you paying to someone who is not a PayTM user and uses any other other UPI-based payment platforms such as Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM, etc, you can still make payment by just scanning that QR code right from your PayTM app interface.
To use this, all you have to download PayTM app either from Google Play Store or App Store, install it and open it, just tap on Pay option and all you need to do is scan the any Paytm QR code or any UPI QR code available at the merchant store and then you can make payment via UPI.
PayTM said “Now people do not have to fill different fields – ranging from mobile phone numbers and UPI PIN to bank account numbers and IFSC – in order to make a digital payment. All they need is the Paytm app that allows scanning any QR code available at the retail stores for instant UPI payments.”
