Yesterday at Apple’s event Apple has introduced updated version of MacBook Pro Retina Display 13 inch and 15 inch. Both these laptops are available in India from today itself with prices starting at Rs 99,900.


As per specs, the 13 inch MacBook Pro features Intel’s fourth generation Haswell dual-core processors clocked from 2.4GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz which can provides up to 9 hours of video playback, it has integrated Intel graphics, Apple offers 90 percent more performance than previous generation MacBook Pros. This laptop is lighter and thinner than its previous version and weights 3.46 pounds and just 0.71-inches thin.

In terms of pricing, its price starts from Rs 99,990 for the 2.4GHz dual core i5 along with 4GB RAM, and 128GB flash storage. 2.4GHz dual core i5 along with 8GB RAM and 256GB flash storage will cost Rs 114,900 and 2.6GHz dual-core i5 along with 8GB RAM and 512GB flash storage will be available for Rs 134,900. The top most variant will comes with 2.8GHz dual core i7 processor paired with 16GB RAM and 1TB of flash storage configure-to-order options.

On the other hand 15-inch MacBook Pro, features same Intel’s fourth generation Crystalwell quad-core Intel Core processors clocked from 2GHz up to 2.6GHz, in terms of GPU it has option of Intel Iris Pro or GeForce GT 750M with 2GB video memory and it houses a battery which run it up to 8 hours.

Both variants comes with Mac Os X Mavericks and comes preloaded with free iLife and iWork apps, they also includes PCIe-based flash storage, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, dual Thunderbolt 2 which twice as fast as previous generation Thunderbolt and HDMI ports.

Price of 15-inch MacBook Pro starts from Rs 149,900 for the 2GHz quad-core i7 along with 8GB RAM and 256GB flash storage variant. 2.3GHz quad-core i7 variant paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB flash storage will be available for Rs 199,900 . The 2.6GHz quad-core 16GB RAM and 1TB flash storage variant will be available with configure-to-order options.
