Nowadays we see companies launching successors or their devices in a sort period of time, but as of now we didnt hear about the successor of Lumia 1020 which was launched last year. Recently a device codenamed Nokia RM-1052 was spotted on a Chinese auction website. This device is very much similar to of Lumia 1020 and it could be a successor of Nokia’s flagship smartphone launched last year.
If we talk about specs then this alleged device has a metal back panel with a plastic strip just below it, this alleged device could have a 5-inch of display screen with full HD 1080p screen resolution, 2GB of RAM, and run on Windows Phone 8.1. Just like Lumia 1020, this also has a similar huge camera module at back.
According to The Verge, this device could be Nokia McLaren, which was supposed to have 3D Touch Technology, however this device was cancelled. Earlier Nokia McLaren was seen as Lumia 1020 successor but as rumored appeared that this program was cancelled but now it seems Microsoft is going to invest on it.
But a issue which goes wrong here is that as per images this device features a LED flash instead of xenon which we had seen on Lumia 1020. At this time there is no way to confirm whether its a fake image or not, so stay tuned with us and we will update you accordingly.
