Idea Cellular, country’s 3rd largest mobile operator unveiled two new 3G smartphones – Idea Ultra+ and Idea FAB. Idea has introduced these new 3G smartphones targeting the young and tech savvy students and professionals. Both the devices will be sold through Idea’s retail channel spread across its key 3G markets.
If we talk about Idea Ultra+ is a dual IM smartphone which comes with 5 inch of display screen with screen resolution of 480×854 pixels, it’s powered by 1.3GHz of quad-core processor along with 1 GB of RAM and has 4 GB of internal memory out of which 2GB is available to users, it do comes with memory card slot for memory expansion, at back it has an 8MP camera along with a VGA front facing camera, it houses a 2000 mAh powerful battery. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Idea Ultra+ is priced at just Rs. 8,300/-.
Whereas Idea FAB is the cheaper one, Idea Fab dual-SIM has a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 480×800 pixels which is protected by Gorilla Glass. It runs on 1.2GHz dual-core processor along with 512MB of RAM and has 4 GB of internal storage with microSD card slot. At back it has a 3.2MB camera and misses front facing camera, it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and its priced at Rs. 4,999/-.
Idea wants to attract users and for this they are providing special 3G packages of 1.6 GB 3G data and Free Idea TV for 3 months, with a pack priced at Rs. 259 for existing subscribers, and 1.6 GB 3G data and Free Idea TV for 3 months, with a pack priced at Rs. 261 for new subscribers.
