As expected HTC has announced successor of its popular Desire 816, the HTC Desire 820 in India, HTC has announced two variant, HTC Desire 820 and Desire 820q. HTC has said that it will be available from early November and price will be confirmed by then only.

HTC Desire 820

If we talk about specs then, HTC Desire 820 it flaunts a 5.5-inch 720p display screen, under the hood HTC Desire 820 is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 along with 2GB of RAM whereas Desires 820q is powered by quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC. It comes with 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.

At back it features a 13-megapixel snapper with LED flash and BSI sensor, f/2.2, 28mm lens, 1080p video recording, along with a 8-megapixel camera with BSI sensor, 1080p video recording, it has HTC’s Face Fusion software. For connectivity, it supports LTE connectivity, along with support for HSPA+, Wi-fi a/b/g/n (2.4/5GHz), and Bluetooth. It will be available in dual-SIM variant in selected markets. It houses 2,600mAh battery, to which company claims that it can survive 22.4 hours of 3G talk time, or up to 424 hours of 3G standby.
