Last month Apple has announced latest version of its tablet, the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 and it is available in US and some other parts of the world. Some days back there were news that Apple could launch iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 in India by the end of this month or in first week of December.

But recently both of these tablets, iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 were spotted on India Import/Export website which suggest that Apple has imported these tablets from China to Banglore. iPad Mini 3 were imported on 13 November and its price was declared Rs. 16,867 for 64GB WiFi and Rs. 20,880 for 64GB WiFi+Cellular.

While iPad Air 2 was imported on 18 November and its price was declared Rs 24,536 for 64GB WiFi and Rs. 29,545 for for 64GB WiFi+Cellular. These listing suggest that Apple could launch these tablets anytime soon in India.

Just to recap specs, iPad Air 2 comes with A8X processor and M8 motion co-processor, features a 8MP iSight camera which support full HD recording, burst mode, panorama shots (43 MP), HDR, time lapse videos and 120fps slow motion videos, includes TouchID sensor and App Pay support, also supports 802.11ac MiMO WiFi which support up to 866 Mbps and over 20 LTE bands which provide speed up to 150 Mpbs.

While iPad Mini 3 comes with almost same specs of iPad Mini 2, all new it has got is support for TouchID and support for Apple Pay, but it lacks NFC which means you can use Apple Pay on Bricks and Mortar stores, you can only use it to pay online only.
