After months of silence, Coolpad is back with another smartphone under their Note series, the Coolpad Note 8, company was teasing for the launch of this new smartphone from sometime and with this new launch, company has re-entered into India’s smartphone market which might be difficult for the company as there is already tough competition from Chinese players. Coolpad was once playing good in India and was able to attract eyes on many buyers when they launched Note 3 in India, but then there non-consistence business took away all of there market shares.

Coolpad Note 8

“After going through a rough phase we are looking forward to make an impact in the Indian market with Coolpad Note 8. This product will also be our first cooperation with Paytm and we are looking forward to make it a mutually beneficial one,” said Syed Tajuddin, CEO, Coolpad India.

When it comes to specs, Coolpad Note 8 flaunts a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and has aspect ratio of 18:9. Under the hood, it is powered by MediaTek MT6750 SoC, an octa-core CPU clocked at 1.5GHz along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

When it comes to the photographic front, there is dual rear camera setup of 16-megapixel and 0.3-megapixel image sensors on the back, while there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera for video calling and selfies, it also supports face unlock.

When it comes to connectivity, it supports WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 4G LTE and Micro USB, it hhouses 4,000mAh battery. When it comes to software front, it runs on Android 8.0.

Coolpad Note 8 is priced Rs. 9,999 in India and will be exclusively available via Paytm Mall starting today.
