Acer Announced Iconia W3, Worlds First 8 Inch Windows 8 Tablet
Acer has announced worlds first 8 inch Windows 8 tablet Iconia W3 at the Computex. Earlier same tablet was leaked on Amazon but later it was taken down.
As per specs this tablet has got 8.1 inch of LCD display with screen resolution of 1280×800 pixels. It is powered by powered by Intel Atom Z2760 Clover Trail chipset and runs on Windows 8. It comes in 2 variant of 32 GB and 64 GB with option of increasing memory with SD card up to 32 GB.
It has got 2 MP of camera ta back and front. for connectivity it has micro-HDMI and micro-USB ports. It comes pre-installed with MS Office, Acer is also offering full sized keyboard so that you can use it like notebook.
Acer has priced it for $379 or around Rs. 21,500, it will be up for pre-order from 4 June in US, however there is wording for India launch.
