China-based smartphone maker, OnePlus has launched OnePlus One couple of yer back and it has hit the world very hard and it was very soon called as flagship killer smartphone, and not only in talk, actually it was a good device with high-end performance, and then OnePlus has launched second generation, OnePlus 2 which failed to impress the audience and then company has launched a stripped down variant, the OnePlus X, which again failed to stand out in crowd.

Now the company is gearing up for the launch of its next smartphone, the OnePlus 3, and if we are lucky enough then we could see this smartphone very soon. According to GizmoChina, OnePlus is going to host an event on 7 April where the company could launch OnePlus 3, it seems bit early as earlier reports claimed company could launch this smartphone sometime in June.

Recently a smartphone with model number A3000 is spotted on AnTuTu Benchmark website, this is being called as OnePlus 3 device, and if we believe on this, then this device has got some of the top end specs, it will have 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, under the hood will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset, along with Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 2GB onboard storage.

For photography, it will have the 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. When it comes to deign language, this smartphone will have dedicated camera key, along with the alert slider and Type-C port, when it comes to software, it will run on Android Marshmallow-based Oxygen OS.

Earlier, OnePlus co-founder Pete Lau has said that they are planning to launch OnePlus 3 by the end of second quarter of this year, which means it’s very unlikely for company to host event so early, anyways we will update you with all latest happenings, so stay tuned.
