Micromax Canvas Nitro A310 runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat but its not the stock version, Micromax has tweaked it and browed some features from Samsung’s TouchWiz and HTC Sense UI. In this smartphone Micromax has introduced Quciklook, it’s the same which we had seen in HTC BlinkFeed which shows latest news from several topics, weather information and you can also add your Facebook and Twitter to get their feed too. There is no option to remove QuickLook.
Micromax has also added gesture control to this phone, you can perform or launch apps by simple finger gestures like such as pinch in, pinch out, two finger flick up, two finger flick down, two finger flick left and two finger flick right.
Micromax has added a camera widget on home screen through which you can quickly capture an images, record a video or take a selfie. Another feature which Micromax has browed from Samsung is Pause on Look away, it’s the same feature which we had seen in Samsung’s smartphone as Smart Pause. This feature pauses a video when you are looking away from the screen and playback when you again look on screen. Micromax is using Swift Key as its default keyword which is nice.

Coming to camera of this phone, Canvas Nitro A310 comes with a 13MP which uses Sony IMX135 CMOS sensor with f/2.2 aperture, has Largan 5P 28mm lens and it also has Blue Glass filter for better color balance.
Images taken in daylight are decent but color combinations are not good and misses lots of details. Colors are missing when images taken indoors, its flash is good and through good amount of light when its on. It’s a decent camera but it could be better. What we like is camera focus and capture images very fast.
It has a front facing camera of 5MP, thanks to OmniVision sensor which makes it a good selfie camera. Check out some images taken by use, click on images to see them in full view.
