As expected, Finally after teasing on social media websites, Xiaomi India has launched the successor of last year launched Android One device, the Xiaomi Mi A2 which is the successor of Xiaomi Mi A1 which was the first Android One smartphone from the company. Xiaomi has already launched this smartphone in Spain last year and now it has arrived in India.

When it comes to specs, the Xiaomi Mi A2 flaunts a 5.99-inch display screen with FHD+ resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core chipset. It comes in different RAM and Storage variants of 4+64GB / 6+128GB, but unfortunately there is no microSD card slot to expand the memory.

When it comes to the photography, It features a dual cameras setup at the rear just like Mi A1, but the setup is different on A2, the Mi A2 comes with a combination of 12-megapixel and 20-megapixel sensors along with led flah, at the front you have a 20-megapixel snapper along with a soft light LED flash.

It houses a Mi A2 is backed by a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0+ support, when it comes to the connectivity, it supports dual-SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C and IR Blaster. There is a fingerprint scanner at rear as well.

As it is a part of Android One series, it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and it will get Android Pie update as well.

Price and Availability Of Xiaomi Mi A2

Xiaomi Mi A2 comes in two variants, the base model with 64GB+4GB RAM is priced at Rs 16,999 and it will go on sale from 16 August 2018 on Amazon India. There is another top-end model with 128GB+6GB RAM, but company hasn’t said anything when it will be available.
