Reasons I am Not Liking LG Nexus 5X
Yesterday Google has took the wrap off from its latest smartphone under its Nexus line-up, as rumors has suggested us, for the first time company has announced two new Nexus devices, the Nexus 5X which is made by LG and Nexus 6P which is made by Huawei, Both of the devices comes with some latest hardware and software features as compared with the last year’s Google Nexus device.
If you love Nexus series then you can go ahead and pre-order a device for yourself as they are up for pre-order but right after the launch event many of my friends asked me is this new Nexus 5X worth of buying, Should I wait it to be launch in India and buy it or ask someone to buy for me from USA. No doubt Google has tried a lot and added some good features, but at the time when we are seeing lots of smartphone’s are being launched by Chinese makers which not only comes at low price but also comes with latest and powerful features.
In Nexus 5X, here are the things which I didnt liked on it and wished Google has fixed it or included it in its device, so here is the list :-
No MicroSD card Support :-
I dont know why companies are more and more focusing on internal or inbuilt storage and not providing support for Micro SD card, by having SD card you get lots of options like you can easily transfer files between your PC/laptop. Earlier this year when Samsung has launched its flagship device, fans has complaint about this as well. Yes we had seen in past that Nexus devices does not support SD card but I think now its time for Google to change Nexus template.
Only 2GB of RAM :-
Yes I know its the same amount of RAM which you will get on iPhone 6S, and having so much amount of RAM on stock Android which is free from any bloatwares or OEM apps will give you smooth experience, but when you start using it and install app on your device then you might find that 2GB of RAM is very less for you. If you ask me, I was expecting at least 3GB of RAM.
No OIS In Camera :-
LG Nexus 5X comes with 12.3-megapixel rear snapper with f/2.0 aperture, laser-assisted focus and LED flash, 5-megapixel on front. It looks good at first sight but Google has missed OIS or Optical Image Stabilization which can be found on all flagship devices or even mid-range devices, it allows you to take good quality images in shaky or low light environment but here Google decided to miss it.
Some fans over internet are also complaining about wireless charging but I dont think its that much important and you can easily live without it, so whats your take on this? are you happy with what Nexus 5X has got or you also think there is something Google has missed, do share in comment section below.
