After much of wait, today Xiaomi has hosted an event in the home country and launched a long time waited for Mi Note 2 which is not only the newly devices in Note series. Xiaomi has introduced dual curved screen display on this Mi Note 2 just like we have seen on Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Note 7, and not only this you will also have dual curved back panel with a frame sandwiched in between.

When it comes to specs, you have 5.7-inches FHD flexible OLED display, at back you will find 3D curved rear panel, while the frame is made of series 7 aluminum, under the hood, it is powered by Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor clocked at 2.35 GHz along with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage or 6GB RAM with 128 GB storage.

When it comes to photographic front, it features an 22.56 MP rear camera with Sony IMX318 sensor along with dual tone LED flash, this camera can shot 4K videos but Xiaomi has decided to drop OIS support here, but instead it comes with EIS which uses gyroscope to measure shake but it is very useless if you are in low lights environment.

At front you will find 8MP wide angle front facing camera with auto-focus, at front you will find fingerprint sensor just below display and you have NFC support Xiaomi Pay, you will also find 24-bit HiFi DAC support which is capable of playing 192KHz audio without any distortion.

For connectivity, you have 3G, 4G LTE, Dual SIM, NFC, GPS, Wi-Fi and USB Type-C, it houses a 4070 mAh non-removable battery as well. When it comes to software scenerio, it runs on Android OS, v6.0 (Marshmallow) wrapped under MIUI 8.0.

Xiaomi Note 2 is priced 2799 Yuan 4GB model and 3299 Yuan for the 6GB RAM variant with 128GB storage, this device is not coming in India anytime soon.
