When sixth flash sale of Xiaomi started it was all over before anyone could do anything, its sixth flash sale ended in just 2.4 seconds, well its nothing new for Xiaomi Mi 3 and the shocking thing was that Flipkart hasnt open registration for next flash sale, when contacted we got news that Xiaomi Mi 3 sale is suspended in India.

Xiaomi has sold more than 95,000 unites of Mi 3 in India and now they want to focus on their entry level Redmi 1S which was announced sometime back at Rs. 6,999 to give competition to Motorola Moto E and other domestic vendors, but at an even in New Delhi Xiaomi has taken competition to new level and slashed price of Redmi 1S to Rs. 5,999/-.

Xiaomi has said that they will not repeat the mistake with Redmi 1S which they had done in the case of Mi 3, they will make more units available at the time of launch and their latest step of suspending Mi 3 sale seems another step to focus only on one thing. Redmi 1S registration are already open and its flash sale will happen on September 2.

Just to recap the specs, Xiaomi Redmi 1s flaunts a 4.7-inchIPS display screen with 720×1280 pixel screen resolution protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection, under the hood its powered by a Snapdragon 400 quad-core SoC clocked at 1.6GHz along with Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It has 8GB of internal storage which can befurther expanded up to 32 GB via a microSD card slot.

At back Xiaomi Redmi 1s features an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera along with 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, it houses a 2,000mAh battery, for connectivity it has 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Direct and hotspot functionality, Micro-USB, Bluetooth4.0, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB OTG. As per software front, Xiaomi Redmi 1s runs onAndroid 4.3 Jelly Bean wrapped with Xiaomi’s MIUI V5.

This phone is up for competition with Moto E and Zenfone 4. Today Hugo Barra from Xiaomi has announced that soon there will be four exclusive service centers Chennai, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Hyderabad.
