Earlier this year, Samsung has launched a new series of smartphone, the Z series which runs on companies own home made OS, the Tizen, company has launched Z1 in the Q1 of this year then we never heard anything from company about Tizen based smartphone, company did announced Gear S2 smartwatch in IFA 2015, but today company has said that they are not going to giveaway this OS and today company has launched second Tizen powered device, the Samsung Z3.

Company has launched Z3 at Rs. 8,490 which a bit higher price tag for a smartphone which with new OS, it will be exclusively available online on Snapdeal, as well as on offline stores, it is coming in gold, black and silver color variants and as an introductory offer, Vodafone buyers will get 1GB of free data per month for a period of two months.

When it comes to specs then Samsung Z3 flaunts an 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) Super AMOLED display which we had seen on most of the Samsung devices, under the hood it is powered by a 1.3GHz Spreadtrum quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM and also on offer is 8GB internal storage which can be further expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card.

When it comes to photography front, Samsung Z3 features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and there is an 5-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera at front, at this price point you will be able to find out 4G smartphone’s available in market but this Z3 misses it and for connectivity it has got dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 BLE, and GPS, it houses an 2,600mAh battery and do comes with Ultra Power Saving Mode which extends the battery life when you are running out of it by turning of some of background running apps.

On the software front, it runs on Tizen OS 2.3 and comes with My Galaxy and Mix Radio app pre-loaded in it, My Galaxy is a new and unique consumer engagement platform, which offers consumers differentiated value added services which ranges from personalized offers, an exclusive music service, continuous value on extensively used categories like recharge, travel, movies, fashion etc to post purchase care and assistance.

Samsung has tied up with brands such as Amazon, Paytm, BookMyShow, and Pizza Hut among others for consumers to enjoy these services through an integrated platform and to discover new and amazing things every day.

Samsung Z3 comes pre-loaded with a highly personalised music streaming, With integration of Mix Radio on Samsung Z3, consumers will have access to thousands of curated mixes from a catalogue of over 30 million songs. This includes extensive local catalogue of 12 Indian languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, Bangla, Odiya and Marathi. Z3 users would not only have an option of streaming music from these languages but also to take music offline keeping them entertained at all.
