Samsung_Tab_3

As expected Samsung has launched its 2 new tablets in Indian market, Galaxy Tab 3 211 and Tab 3 311, these both are Tab 7.0 and Tab 8.0 but Samsung is calling them as Tab 3 211 & Tab 3 311. These are not high end tablets which will impress you but its a part of Samsung plan to tackle in mid range market with Apple iPad Mini and Nexus 7.

The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 come with a 7-inch TFT display with a low screen resolution of 1024×600 pixels. It is powered by a dual-core processor ticking at 1.2GHz along with 1GB of RAM, It comes with 8GB of internal memory which can be expandable via a microSD. There is a 3-megapixel rear camera and a 1.9-megapixel camera in the front. It houses 4,000 mAh battery and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It do supports 3G connectivity.

The Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is a slightly more high-end product. It has a 8-inch display with a screen resolution of 1280×800 pixels and it is powered by a dual-core Exynos 4412 processor ticking at 1.5GHz. It has same chipset that powers the Galaxy S II, but at slightly higher clock speed. There is 1.5GB of RAM along with Mali 400 GPU, and 16GB of internal memory which can be expandable via a microSD and houses a 4,450 mAh battery. There is a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel camera in the front. For connectivity it has options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB and A-GPS. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung’s TouchWiz Nature UX on top.

Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 are priced Rs 17,745 and Rs 21,725 respectively.
