Last year Reliance Jio in its AGM has announced its JioGigaFiber service which will be the broadband service from the company, since then company has invited applications from the customers who are interested in its and many has applied for the same, and company has already provide its Fiber To Home service to many of them on the trail basis. Now, today on its Annual General Meeting company has announced the commercial launch of GigaFiber will be from 5th September, it is the same date on which company has started its operations three years back.

During the meeting, Mr. Ambani has said that JioGigaFiber generated 15 million registrations from 1,600 towns when company has announced it last year, company is planning to reach 20 million residences and 15 million business in next couple of months.

Company has came up with industry’s first kind of offer to which company is calling as Jio Fiber Welcome Offer, in which company is offering free HD/4K television set and 4K Set Top Box at the time of launch. As we all know, Jio has built its business by offering freebies to its customers, like free data at the launch of Jio, but this time it is something much bigger than that, however company hasn’t announced the deposit or base price has not been announced just yet.

The company has announced that its base speed will start from 100Mbps and will goes all up to 1GBps, the base price for its plan will start from Rs. 700.

These plans will come with a landline phone which will offer free calls on any network across the country and it will also come with a set-top box so that you can access cable TV channels.

Company has also said that Jio Fiber will come bundled with subscriptions to most of the premium OTT applications and users can experience first-day-first-show movies on their television.

Company is yet to announce the clear side of the pricing of it which we think will be announced in next couple of years.
