OnePlus has entered into affordable smart TV business sometime back in India by launching couple of affordable smart TV in Indian market, and now company has expanded this lineup with the launch of OnePlus TV 40Y1 in India which will join the line of Y1 32 inch and 43 inch. Y smart TV series is the affordable smart TV line up from the company which is already doing well in India, and with the addition of new product company is trying to fill the gap between 32 inch and 43 inch, which is a nice move from the company.

OnePlus 40Y1 Front

OnePlus Tv 40Y1 will go on sale from 26th May on Flipkart, while the company’s own store, OnePlus.in already list this smart TV but it says coming soon and will be available soon. This smart TV is priced at Rs. 21, 999 and Flipkart instant discount of 10 per cent off to HDFC Bank cards users.

This smart TV flaunts a 40-inch bezel-less LED-backlit LCD display (1920×1080 pixels screen resolution) with a screen-to-body ratio of 93 per cent and a wide color gamut of DCI-P3 93 per cent which provides vivid colors.

The Gamma Engine feature of the OnePlus TV Y Series provides innovative features to bring alive the viewing experience.

OnePlus TV 40Y1 is an Android powered smart TV, which means users get access to Google Assistant and Google Play store which allows you get to get access to host of apps. It also comes with a built-in Chromecast support which means users to play any content from a connected smartphone.

For connectivity, the TV comes with two HDMI ports, two USB, RF, optical digital audio port, 3-in-1 AV composite, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth version 5.0, and ethernet. It also comes with 20W stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos.

OnePlus TV 40Y1 comes with OnePlus Connect app support, this allow you to link your Android phone to OnePlus TV, and with this user can use their smartphone as remote control for TV.

OnePlus TV 40Y1 runs on OxygenPlay UI on top on Android 9.0, and it offers access to popular OTT apps like Netflix, YouTube, Disney + Hotstar, Sony Liv, Hungama, Eros Now, and Prime Video.
