Motorola has left Android KitKat untouched which means you will get clean home screen, clean UI, a camera icon on lock screen, Google Now, on screen buttons.

Moto E comes with two pre-loaded apps from Motorola, Moto Migrate which helps you to migrate data from your old phone to Moto E very easy, another app which is Moto Assist, it determines in which ringing tone a phone should be at a particular period of time. It can sync your calendar and can determine at what time you are in meeting and then enter phone into meeting mode.

Camera Of Moto E :-

Moto E comes with a 5Mp fixed focus camera, it comes with the same camera app which we had seen in Moto G, default camera app is very basic and very few settings are available on it. Images taken in good light have some noise and its better if we dont talk about images taken under low light conditions. If you loves to take images then its not for you. It misses auto-focus which allows you to takes images quickly. Even being 5 MP camera it cant record HD videos, maximum resolution for videos are 480p.
