Yesterday at an event in San Francisco software giant Microsoft has announced its latest Operating System, the Windows 10, yes they had skipped Windows 9. This Windows 10 will replace unpopular Windows 8 OS which was launched back in 2012.

Microsoft has announced that its flagship product is used by more than 1.5 Billion customers across the world and with this new OS Microsoft wants to target business customers who were almost untouched with Windows 8.

Terry Myerson, Microsoft’s head of operating systems said, “Windows 10 will be our greatest enterprise platform ever”, according to a research only 20% of enterprise has shifted to Windows 8 after 2 year of launch.

Myerson also said, “Windows 10 adapts to the devices customers are using, from Xbox to PCs and phones to tablets and tiny gadgets” which means your Windows 10 will come in two modes, one is touch optimized and another is for Mouse and Keyboard users. You will be able to use the suitable version as per your device.

On Windows 8, every user has criticized Microsoft for removable of Start Menu, but on Windows 10 Microsoft has introduced a revamped new Start menu which not only includes your installed program but also list Metro Apps as well. Start Menu will also has Universal Search which shows search results from we also.

Microsoft didnt mentioned when this OS will be released but it is expected to be on 2015 Spring. Technical Preview can be downloaded from Microsoft website from today onward.
