After announcing a smartphone over twitter chat and creating quite a buzz over internet, today Micromax has launched its another entry level and very affordable smartphone, the Micromax Canvas Spark at a very aggressive price tag of Rs. 4,999 and this phone will directly take on recently launched Motorola Moto E (2015) and Xiaomi Redmi 2 which are available at Rs. 6,999 but offers similar specs.

This smartphone will be available only on Snapdeal under flash sale model, and registration for first flash sale will starts tomorrow from 12 noon and first sale happen on 29 April and as launch day offer Vodafone users will get two months of free 500MB 3G data.

Last year company has launched Micromax Unite 2 which was launched against Moto E (1st Gen) and it turned to be a great success for the company and company was able to sell good amount units of that device but then Xiaomi has launched Redmi 1S which steel sale of Unite 2, but this year Micromax has launched its device after other companies and that at much lower price.

If we talk about specs, the Micromax Canvas Spark flaunts an 4.7-inch qHD display screen with screen resolution of 960×540 pixels, and display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, under the hood it is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MTK6582 quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and has got 8GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up to 32GB via micro SD card.

As per photography is concerned, it has got an 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash, at front it features an 2-megapixel selfie camera, it houses an 2,000mAh battery, for connectivity it includes, dual-SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro USB and GPS. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box and comes with some pre-loaded apps like AskMe, Saavan, SnapDeal, PayTM and some more.
