In recent times we have seen almost every company has launched their LTE enabled device and now you can find LTE enabled devices ranging from Rs. 7K to 50K. In entry level segment you can find Xiaomi Redmi 2 (Review), Lenovo A6000, Lenovo A7000, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G (Review) and more. Today’s India based company, Micromax has also joined the league of LTE device and they have announced their first ever LTE enabled smartphone, the Micromax Canvas Knight 2.

If we talk about specs then Micromax Canvas Knight 2 flaunts an 5 inch HD AMOLED display screen with screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, under the hood it is powered by an 64Bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core SoC clocked at 1.5GHz along with 2GB of RAM and has got an expandable memory option which lets you expand memory up to 32GB via Micro SD card.

As per photography front Micromax Canvas Knight 2 features an 13-megapixel snapper at the back with Sony’s IMX214 CMOS sensor, LARGAN 5P lens and LED flash, at front there is an 5-megapixel snapper with Omnivision OV5648 sensor with LARGAN 4P lens.

For connectivity it has got WiFi, Bluetooth, LTE, 3G, Micro USB, and GPS, it has dual SIM slot, on first sot you can insert LTE enabled Micro SIM and on second slot you can either insert a Nano SIM or a Micro SD card to expand memory, it houses a 2,260mAh battery which can deliver up to seven hours of talktime and up to 335 hours on standby mode.

It runs on Android Lollipop out of box and comes with several pre-installed apps like Cleanmaster, Apps Center, Snapdeal, Swiftkey, Chaatz, Newshunt, Quickr and Hotstar.

Micromax Canvas Knight 2 will go on sale from next week on June 10 with a price tag of Rs 16,299, at this price tag it will compete with OnePlus One, Lenovo Vibe X, Xiaomi Mi4 and Asus Zenfone 2 (Review).
