Today Micromax has launched another smartphone under its Canvas series, the Micromax canvas Beat, it been launched in exclusive partnership with Aircel at Rs. 9,999/-
this smartphone will be retailed by Aircel across the country and as name indicates, its been touted as music phone and comes pre-loaded with a Aircel music app and comes with 1,000 free songs.
As per specs, Micromax Canvas Beat A114R comes with a 5 inch qHD IPS display screen with screen resolution of 540×960 pixels, under the hood its powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 processor along with 1GB of RAM, has 4GB of inbuilt storage which can be expandable via microSD card up to 32GB.
At back Micromax Canvas Beat features a 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera along with LED flash, and has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, for connectivity it has WiFi, Dual SIM, Bluetooth and Micro USB. It houses a 1900mAh battery which can deliver up to 5 hours of talk time and 150 hours of standby time. As per software it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Aircel has also announced a few calling and data cards for Canvas Beat users, like on the recharge of Rs. 118 you will get full talk time, all local and STD calling at 1 paisa/second for the first 6 months, 1GB of free data per month for 6 months.
