This year Meizu entered Indian market officially and has announced couple of devices in India like Meizu M1 Note, M2 Note and then MX5, today company has launched another smartphone for Indian market which is Meizu M2, is an entry level smartphone which will be available for Rs. 6,999, it will be available exclusively via Snapdeal and to buy this you have to register yourself on Snapdeal, registration will start on October 9 at 10AM, and first flash sale will go on October 12.

When it comes to specs then it flaunts an 5-inch IPS HD (1280×720 pixels) display, screen is protected by Dragontrail glass, under the hood it is powered by an MediaTek’s MT6735 quad-core Cortex-A53 processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with Mali T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM, it also comes with 16GB of internal storage which can be further be expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.

When it comes to photography front, Meizu M2 features an 13-megapixel auto focus rear snapper with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, at front it has got 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, it houses an 2,500mAh non-removable battery, and for connectivity it features Dual SIM, LTE (on both SIM), 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and Micro USB.

When it comes to smartphone front, the Meizu M2 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop wrapped under companies own Flyme OS 4.5. At this price and specs it will compete with Micromax Canvas Blaze 4G, Phicomm Passion P660, Motorola’s Moto E 4G (2015), and Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime.
