Yesterday South Korean tech giant, LG has announced its latest circular smartwatch, LG G Watch R just ahead of its unveil of IFA Berlin which will kick off next week.
Yesterday while announcing LG G Watch R company didn’t revealed its price but however LG Germany has announced its price and availability, at least for German market. In a statement company has said that LG G Watch R will hit market in October at the price of EURO 299 which means around Rs. 24,000/-.
LG G Watch R is the most expensive smartwatch in market at this time; you can get company’s previous smartwatch LG G Watch which was unveiled at EURO 199, Samsung has unveiled Gear Live at EURO 199.
Just to recap specs LG G Watch R has 1.3-inch Plastic OLED display with 320×320 pixels screen resolution, powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor along with 512MB RAM and has 4GB of internal memory and houses a 410mAh battery.
LG G Watch R runs on Android Wear which supports Android 4.3 or above which means you will have same Google Now experience on it too with clean notifications and access to other services like voice recognition notifications which can provide information’s like missed calls, upcoming meetings and events, local weather forecasts and so on. LG G Watch R is IP67 certified which makes it dust and water resistance.
It has also got embedded photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor which helps LG health and fitness apps  to track users’ heartbeats.
