It’s been quite a long time for US based smartphone company, InFocus doing business in India, it’s more than a year and in this period company has launched smartphone’s in almost all segment’s. Now the company has come up with a new affordable 4G smartphone, the InFocus Bingo 21 which company has launched last week and we also got a chance to use this device for some period of time, so let’s find out what this device has got and does it worth of its price.

Build And Design Of InFocus Bingo 21:-

When it comes to build, then the company has used some good quality plastic on this device, it do feel solid in hand considering its price bracket. On the other hand, the design of this smartphone is surely eye-catching, the company has used two color combination language here, it is available in White, Orange and Blue colour options with the black back panel.

InFocus Bingo 21 Buttons

When it comes to connectivity and ports then right side is clean with no ports or buttons, on left side, you will find volume rockers along with very tiny power and sleep button, many times I ended up pressing volume up button instead of Power button, we wished company has made power button bigger as its the most pressed button on the device, the only option with you is getting used to as it does not have double tap to wake.

InFocus Bingo 21 Ports

At bottom, you will find a Micro-USB port for charging and data transfer along with 3.5mm Audio jack for your headphone.

InFocus Bingo 21 Rear

At back, you have an 8MP rear snapper with LED flash and the back panel has got texturized finish which provide better grip to the device.

InFocus Bingo 21 Front Camera

At the front, you will find a 4.5-inch display with the resolution of 854×480 pixels and a pixel density of 218ppi, there is a 5MP front-facing camera at the top as well.

The overall build is average with nothing much to impress us here, yes the design is the little bit impressive and two color combination does look good.

When it comes to under the hood features, it is powered by a Shark L (SC9830) quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz along with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up to 32GB via micro SD card.

It does provide decent viewing angles to you. It does comes with some display settings like you can change the temperature of the display, there is Bluelight filter option available as well which allows you to read ebooks or other things without putting the load on your eye, especially at nights. The screen is fingerprint magnet and you require to wipe and clean screen very frequently.

Software And UI Of InFocus Bingo 21:-

InFocus Bingo 21 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the custom skin on top, UI is like any other InFocus smartphone, there are lots of bloatware’s, icons looks colorful and nice. UI seems good enough when considering the price bracket, we didn’t face any major issue or lag while using the device, all apps open quickly without any major lag.

Camera Of InFocus Bingo 21:-

InFocus Bingo 21 comes with 8MP rear snapper with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. Camera do looks good on paper but when it comes to real world, there is lots of different, when we tried to click images in low light, camera failed to focus correctly, it took a long time to focus, even images taken indoor misses all details and has lots of noise, outdoor images are little better and acceptable as well. Front facing camera does comes with several settings like smile shutter which does work on its on mode.

Final Verdict On InFocus Bingo 21:-

InFocus Bingo 21 Battery

The entry level segment is going to be over-crowded day by day, almost all companies launching their entry level devices in this segment which makes a tough choice for consumers. InFocus Bingo 21 do comes with good build and UI is also nice, but when it comes to camera and build, you have some better options in market like Moto E 2nd Gen, or Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime.
