It seems InFocus is back on track with back to the back announcement of devices, and what is good here is the company is focusing more and more on entry-level smartphones. Today company has announced a new entry-level smartphone, the InFocus A2, company has made the announcement of this smartphone on its Twitter handle. InFocus A2 will be available in black and champagne gold color options and it will be available via offline channels across the country.

InFocus has joined hand with Reliance Jio for this device and you will get 30GB of 4G data free. The company has announced this phone with the price tag of Rs. 5,199, but buyers will get cash back up to Rs 300 in the form of Supercash in their MobiKwik wallet, which means this phone will cost around Rs. 4,899.

When it comes to specs, Infocus flaunts a 5-inch HD display covered with 2.5D curved display on top. Under the hood, it has got a Spreadtrum SC9832 quad-core chipset clocked at 1.3GHz along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, there is a microSD card slot for further memory expansion.

When it comes to camera front, you will find a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash. The front camera also comes with a beauty mode to enhance your selfies.

When it comes to connectivity options, it supports 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, and a micro USB port. InFocus A2 houses a 2,400mAh battery, which can last full day on a single charge as per company claims.

When it comes to the software front, InFocus A2 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. At this price tag and specs, InFocus A2 will compete with some already established brands like Xiaomi Redmi 5A,10.or D and Nokia 2, it will be good to see what company do to compete with these brands.
