In past we had seen numerous leaks about Motorola’s next generation smartwatch, the Moto 360 and thanks to those leaks which had already gave us fair idea what to expect from this smartwatch and before IFA 2015 kick off, Motorola has announced Moto 360 in an event at Berlin, and just like leaks has said Motorola has announced two variants of its smartwatch, the classic Moto 360 and Moto 360 Sports.

When it comes to design, company has made one big change and its the change in placement of physical button, earlier it was at 3 O’Clock position now its shifted up ward and now its at 2 O’Clock position, rest of design is same.

Just like other smartwatch’s Moto 360 too comes in two variants, 46mm and 42mm and it too have a traditional lug mounts which allows users to change the strap easily.

The smaller variant, 42mm one features an 1.37-inch display, and houses an 270mAh battery, while the larger, 46mm variant features a larger 1.55-inch display and houses an 375mAh battery, as per company’s claims, battery life is much better than predecessor.

When it comes to Moto 360 Sports, it features a rubber body and has built-in GPS, heart rate sensor, and an AnyLight Display, which is helpful under bright sunlight.

These smartwatch’s are WiFi enables means if your smartphone is out of Bluetooth range then also you will get notifications. Moto 360 2015 runs Android Wear which comes with Live Dials which lets you quickly get access to apps right from the watch face.

 

 

Moto 360 is priced at $300 for the 42mm variant, and larger variant is priced $430, Motorola hasn’t revealed any details of the Moto 360 Sport. Motorola has said it is coming North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia very soon, pre-order for US market has already started on Motorola.Com.
