As you know that Hewlett- Packard has acquired WebOS after acquiring Palm Inc. last year for $1.2 Billion.

HP’s CEO Leo Apotheker, says that from next year means 2012 HP will ship PC’s which will be able to run WebOS and Microsoft’s Windows.

The move is aimed at enticing software developers to create a wider range of applications that would differentiate HP PCs, printers, tablets and phones from those sold by rivals.

Actually Android Market had 250,000 apps while iOS had 350,000 Apps but WebOS had only 6000 apps So this move might encourage developers to develop apps for WebOS.
