As we had already told you that Facebook has launched video chat feature with Skype for its users which allows you to make video calls to your friends from web interface.

Facebook video Chat is supported on all major browsers like, Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Internet Explorer on all major OS Windows, Mac and Linux.

But as Mac OS X Lion is in developers stage Facebook Video Chat is not supported in it, but luckily folks at BetTechie has found the way to enable video chat on Lion.

On Safari :-

  • Launch Safari and Enable Developer Menu from Preference –> Advance,
  • Now click on Developer –> User Agent and the select anyone of among Safari 5.1 (Mac), 5.0.1 (Mac), or Firefox 4.0.1 (Mac).

On Google Chrome :-

Launch terminal and run following command :-

open /Applications/Google Chrome.app   –args -user-agent=”Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_8; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.2.1 Safari/525.19?

On Firefox :-

Just install THIS ADD-ON and the navigate to Tools –>  Internet Explorer 8 -> Internet Explorer and then select Internet Explorer 8.

Once done with above activate Facebook Video Chat using THIS METHOD.
